Today I am sickened and embarrassed to be a New Zealander.
The religious wacko right in NZ, has successfully petitioned the government to hold referendum to what amounts to creating a legal defence for child abuse. I will not pull any punches (excuse the pun), if you tick the box to say yes to hitting a child, you have given up all rights to to membership of a civil society. How can anyone hit the most precious and vulnerable members of our society?
Anyone who hits a child, no matter how lightly or ‘lovingly’ isn’t worthy to hold the title as a member of the human race. You evil bastards. The blood of the first beaten child will now be on your hands.
