More elective surgery is not a lolly scramble

If you were silly enough to watch Sky’s Evening NZ news Sunday night, the headline rang along the lines, of pre election budget lolly scramble has begun with health the first benefit.

Sorry, an extra 5000 elective surgeries undertaken each year is a good thing, and if that is a pre election lolly scramble, give me a stick and show me the pinata!!!

Good luck one of you 5000 about to get your surgery soon, hope it’s as sweet a feeling as the lolly.

Sky News NZ, nice dig, pathetic and very ‘party political broadcast on behalf of the National Party’.
